The hermit lives a quiet life in a Greek forest cut off from civilization. When ornithologist Leah shows up to find a rare species of bird the hermit’s life is turned upside down. Leah’s charismatic personality awakens repressed feelings in the hermit and slowly he begins to doubt his life choice.
