Kyveli Short joined Homemade Films in 2019 as Head of Development for all the company’s current projects. She has worked as a development producer/associate producer on Animal (Locarno, 2023) by Sofia Exarchou and Arcadia (Berlinale, 2024) by Yorgos Zois and is now also a junior producer within the company. Her first credits are the short films numb (Drama ISFF 2024) by Despina Kourti and Hopepunk (BFI Flare 2025) by Vasiliki Lazaridou.
As a freelancer, she is a producer on Konstantina Kotzamani’s medium-length film, What Mary Didn’t Know (Locarno, 2024), a co-producer on the hybrid short film Under the Lake (Oberhausen, 2022) by Thanasis Trouboukis, as well as an associate producer on the short films A Summer Place (Tampere, 2021) by Alexandra Matheou, Bella (Visions du Réel, 2020) by Thelyia Petraki and Patision Avenue (Venice, 2018) by Thanasis Neofotistos.
In 2020, Kyveli was awarded by Artworks the SNF Artist Fellowship. She is an alumna of Sarajevo Talents 2020 and Berlinale Talents 2023, where she was selected to participate in the Talent Project Market with Nikos Kyritsis’ debut feature film, Baby.
