Kyveli Short joined Homemade Films in 2019 as Head of Development for all the company’s current projects. She has worked as a development producer/associate producer on the feature films Animal (Locarno, 2023) by Sofia Exarchou and Arcadia (Berlinale, 2024) by Yorgos Zois.
She is now also a junior producer within the company. Her latest credits as a co-producer include the debut feature film Titanic Ocean (Cannes – Un Certain Regard, 2026) by Konstantina Kotzamani and the short film Free Eliza (Notes on an Anatomical Imperfection) (Cannes – Quinzaine des Cinéastes, 2026) by Alexandra Matheou.
As a freelancer, she has produced Stavros Markoulakis’ short film, Tropic of the Mourning Gecko (Venice – Orizzonti, 2026), as well as Konstantina Kotzamani’s medium-length film, What Mary Didn’t Know (Locarno, 2024), which was the winner of the 2025 Hellenic Film Academy Award for Best Short Film.
In 2020, Kyveli was awarded the SNF Artist Fellowship by Artworks. She is an alumna of Sarajevo Talents 2020 and Berlinale Talents 2023, where she was selected to participate in the Talent Project Market with Nikos Kyritsis’ debut feature film, Baby. In 2023, she was also selected to participate in the CineLink Producers’ Lab.
