Vasia Attarian was born in Athens in 1989. She graduated from the University of Athens (Theatre Studies) in 2012 and is currently completing her master’s degree in Cultural Management in the Hellenic Open University. From 2007 until 2019 she has worked in many theatrical shows as an assistant director in Athens. From 2012 until 2019, she has worked as an assistant director of the blitz theatre group in Greece and its European tours.
She is a theatre director and a teenage theatre teacher, in venues such as the National Theatre of Greece, Onassis Stegi, Skrow Theater, the M.Cacoyannis Foundation e.t.c.. She is a member of the douth theatre group. She has co- directed stage performances with Mirto Makridi and Maria Filini. Together with Serafim Radis, they are production coordinators in theatrical shows in the Athens Epidaurus Festival and Onassis Stegi. She teaches theatre history in drama schools and theatre improvisation (together with Katerina Mavrogeorgi).
In 2020-21, she has collaborated with Syllas Tzoumerkas as an assistant director and project manager at the development of his new feature film My Soul Startled, and as a second assistant director in the film The City and the City, directed by Christos Passalis and Syllas Tzoumerkas.
